Spain's tennis star Rafael Nadal won the China Open Tennis Tournament title for the second time in his career, defeating Nick Kyrgois of Australia on Sunday. World No. 1 Nadal beat Kyrgois 6-2, 6-1 in the final match.
In an hour and 32 minutes, Nadal broke the service break of Kyrgois seven times. This is the 75th title of Nadal's career of 31 years. He is no longer just two titles away from the record of becoming the fourth player to win the most titles in the Open Era. John McEnroe of America is currently on their way.
Nadal, who won 16 times the Grand Slam title, has also recovered his account of the defeat in the last eight rounds of the 2017 Cincinnati Open with Kyrgios. This year is great for Nadal. Nadal captured the title of the two Grand Slam French Open and US Open.
In the women's finals, Caroline Garcia of France named her title. Garcia soon defeated Simona Halep of Romania 6-4, 7-6 to reach the first place. The 15th player in the world had faced Halep twice before and both of them had to face defeat. This is Garcia's second consecutive WTA title. Garcia will now make the top 10 in the rankings for the first time.
