Tirumalsetti Suman began as an opening batsman from Hyderabad and came up through the age bunches and into his state's Ranji group. A forceful batsman, Suman began playing at junior level reliably from the age of 13. Subsequent to captaining Hyderabad Under-16s, he came into the Ranji probables in 2001 and, around the same time, made himself saw with great scores against England U-19s and a keep running of forceful hundreds of years. Suman made his first class debut in the 2003-04 season and has been in and out of the Hyderabad first class group, while likewise playing one household season for Andhra. Given his first open door in IPL 2009 in South Africa, Suman was reliable if not terrific, helping Deccan Chargers with cameos in the middle order and breaking associations with his clean offspin. He fared much better in IPL 2010 with 307 runs, yet couldn't execute also in consequent local seasons. He was marked by Mumbai Indians for the 2011 and 2012 releases of the IPL, playing just 10 matches in the two seasons, before he changed to Pune Warriors for IPL 2013. He played just seven matches for Pune in 2013. He was not picked by any establishment for the 2014 and 2015 releases of the IPL before Sunrisers Hyderabad purchased him in the 2016 closeout at a base cost of INR 10 lakh.
Suman includes more unmistakably in Hyderabad's T20 sides than in the Ranji Trophy. His last prominent season was the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in 2014-15 in which he gathered 361 runs at an average of 40 and strike rate of 143, including one century and two fifties.
